WASHINGTON, DC – In response to the U.S. House of Representatives passing the Senate version of the Equal Access to 21st Century Communications Act (S. 3304) last night, CTIA-The Wireless Association’s President and CEO Steve Largent issued the following statement.
“CTIA applauds the passage of S. 3304. This legislation is a great example of what can happen when everyone works to find consensus. We are pleased to support this effort to ensure that every American has access to cutting-edge wireless technology.
“We congratulate Congressman Markey and Senators Pryor, Kerry and Ensign for their work on the bill."
